Soul Prana - Evolution of your Soul - Chakra Prana Meditation for the Soul

Does meditation intrude upon my religion ?

Many religions include meditation as a part of their daily routine. With meditation all you are doing is connecting with your inner-verse and reaching out to the God within. When many religions says to seek within, for the answers are within you, they are talking about meditation for revelations. It is only healthy to meditate irrespective of one's religious outlook. Look at it this way.. Every religion teaches one to pray and often over look the part of listening to God. Meditation is just that, listening.. The foundation meditation does not require you to chant any mantras or listen to any mantras. The meditation tracks included with the CD consists of uplifting and soothing music. There are also a variety of music to choose from both featuring guided and unguided meditation as well. It is essential to have the foundation set so that you have a good understanding of what meditation is about and how to do it correctly.

I have trouble sitting on the floor. Can I sit in a chair to meditate ?

You can comfortably sit in a chair and meditate as there is nothing wrong with that. Do not meditate laying down as it sends the wrong message to the body and you will go to sleep. Always be comfortable and wear comfortable clothes when you meditate. If you are un-comfortable for any reason, it will only be a distraction.

When is it the best time to meditate?

Mornings and evenings are usually a good time, but you can meditate any time as long as it is not before going to bed as you will fall asleep in most cases or your body will be so tired that it might become a distraction. Do not eat a heavy meal before meditation as well, wait for a couple of hours or meditate an hour or two before your meal. You can have some light snacks just before mediation. Try not to drink energy drinks or coffee just before meditation as it might not help get you into a relaxed state.

Does the soul leave the body during a meditation ?

No, your soul does not leave the body during a meditation. The common misconception is that it does and this fear has prevented many from achieving a pure spiritual state of being. What happens during the meditation is that an energy probe is released from your soul. This probe returns back to its origin when the meditation is over. The soul does not leave the body.

A good way to explain this further is as follows:
Imagine you reaching out for a glass of water. When you reach and touch the glass, it is an extension of you experiencing that glass. The energy probe is just that, an extension of you.. It is an energy extension of you that returns back after the meditation is over with.

Does the soul lose its way during a mediation?

Again, a very common myth is that the soul can lose its way and not return back to the body as there is a thread that is tethered to the soul which can be severed. As stated above, the soul does not leave the body. What leaves is an energetic extension of you in a meditation. Once the meditation is over, it will snap back into wherever it originated from. There is no thread that is attached to your soul, that is a myth.

Think about this.. Are you conscious of your soul when you are sleeping? Yet when you wake up it is there, isn't it ? In your dream world which felt so real, your soul consciousness was experiencing that plane of reality and yet found its way back when you woke back to this reality.

Is meditation safe ?

Yes it is, for the most part unless you do it in the middle of the street. It is best to meditate in the comforts of your home , perhaps outdoors under a tree in your garden or a place that calls to you, where it is safe. As always use your best judgment when picking a place to meditate.
