Is Re-incarnation and past lives really possible?
When I was around 23 I coined up a phrase "Even God re-cycles, it is called re-incarnation". This came to me when I was reflecting on life and its possibilities. Being born and raised a Christian, many a times I would look and find glimmers of this elusive truth within The Bible but not quite as many eastern religions would put it. When Jesus was baptized by John, Jesus said that "John is of the spirit of Elijah for those willing to accept it", which in-directly meant that he is a re-incarnation of Elijah. If the God head of Christianity said that, then why is it hard for people to believe that reincarnation is possible? There are also many examples of re-births in The Bible, from Lazarus being brought back from the dead to Jesus himself being resurrected from the cross, informing that he will come again. Re-incarnation is definitely possible as nothing is impossible for God and it is only in our minds we tell ourselves of what God can and cannot do. Such is the ignorance of man.
As you know everything is energy and energy cannot die, it can only be transformed. You are energy, your body is made up of energy which houses an energy body within it, some may vaguely call it as a soul. A soul has to be nurtured and grown for it to maintain its identity after death. For those that doesn't have this cultivated soul, their energy dissipates into their immediate surroundings (some can call this Hell) at the time of their death. Imagine your soul energy dissipating and absorbed into the Earth energy; that is the "death" of a soul. For those who have a developed soul, they can exist in a "heavenly" state as energy beings with the spirit of God often choosing to reincarnate to serve God's purpose here on Earth. If you came from the Heart of God, isn't that where you should return to ? Reincarnation, however, is not for everyone and not everyone reincarnates. It all depends on how much spiritual progression one has made in their lifetime. Do now see the importance of building one's soul ?
So, why is it that we cannot remember our past lives if one has had many past lives? The simple truth of the matter is that it would overwhelm the senses if one were to know all their actions of past lives. It is hard enough coping with the emotions of this life. Ponder on this question.. Do we remember every single detail of this life? Of course not, we may remember major moments in our life of which the rest are easily forgotten. For those who have had past lives, they have this innate sense of wisdom in them. I am sure you have come across kids that seem wise for their age part of the reason is that somehow their wisdom bleeds through to this life, subconsciously.
